Your monthly estimate uses the number of days you enter for the month. The yearly estimate uses 365 days to provide a standard annual estimate. Because of this, the yearly result may not equal the monthly result × 12, especially when you enter 28, 30, or 31 days for the month.

This electricity cost calculator works out how much energy an appliance uses by combining its power rating with how long and how often it runs. It then multiplies that energy usage by your electricity rate to estimate a cost. When you add more than one appliance, each one is calculated separately and the totals are added together, so you get an accurate combined electricity usage calculator result rather than a rough guess.
